As part of this terms science we have planted some giant sunflower seeds, herb seeds, grass seed and we are growing a hyacinth bulb. We have set up some experiments too, we want to find out if a seed will germinate and grow without water, light or both.

We made African Lobi Pots in art. We used play dough and salt dough to learn the skills we needed and then used clay to make our final piece. 
 

Mrs Finch took us to church and taught us all about the Stations of the Cross. It really helped us gain a deeper understanding of the story of Easter.

This term in indoor PE we are exploring the skills needed to performa a short gymnastics routine. 

This week in RE we have started learning about Lent. Yesterday we made a class Lenten promise that we would be kind to everyone. We thought about how we could be kind and made a kindness pancake. We mixed our ideas together and flipped our pancake up to heaven.

This week in maths we having been learning about comparing measures. We have thought objects that are longer, shorter, narrower, wider, taller and shorter. Please ask us about this at home. 

Year 6B have been revising their science skills by creating and using classification skills. They sorted a range of sweets using different features and characteristics. Excellent science work Year 6!
